We invite you to join us in our mission.  We are collecting donations from individuals to help keep the smiles of the children going.  With the help of volunteers, FAHC is now supporting 36 children and their families since April 2007.  FAHC does need your help as its supporters now more than ever.

FAHC Donation Programs

1.  Feeding Kits:  The program's central fundraising tool is Feeding Kits.  Purchases of the kits help us benefit the children's monthly feeding needs.  The cost of a FAHC Feeding Kit is approximately INR 675 ($15).  The cost for 12 such feeding kits distributed to one child over a year is INR 8100 ($180).

FAHC feeding kit includes,

* Daily supply of half-liter milk is arranged via nearby milk societies.  ** The unit cost of a monthly FAHC feeding kit  changes depending on the local seasonal costs.

 

2.  Sponsor-a-Child:  FAHC addresses the challenges of each child it supports.  Simple and affordable interventions can save many lives.  Sponsor-a-Child program aims to provide monthly feeding kits, a chance for better education, better healthcare, and other welfare.  The estimated annual cost to Sponsor-a-Child is INR 10800 ($240).

3. School/college scholarships to deserving children:  FAHC awards one-year financial scholarships (not grants or loans) on a monthly basis to qualified and deserving students.  The amount of each award ranges from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 per month.  Renewal is not automatic but depends on academic performance and continued eligibility.

4. Discretionary Donations:  To make a one time gift of your choice.  Funds contributed via discretionary donations will benefit all children.
